Holyoke Codes encourages diversity, reaching underrepresented groups including people of color, low-income families, and girls.

We recently completed an NSF NRI co-robotics research grant to broaden the participation of middle school Latina girls in computer science and robotics through an immersive narrative of helping people affected by a hurricane.

We have developed partnerships with local schools and afterschool programs and have organized outreach programs for faculty at UMass Amherst, Northeastern, Boston University, Holyoke Community College, and Elms College.
